We are thrilled to announce that as of January 25, 2021, we have received clarity and clearance from our Manitoba Public Health Inspector to re-open our Centre to in-person and on-site services! In order to provide these services, the following pandemic safety protocols must be followed by all visitors to our building and office:

Babysitter Safety Training
DATE: Saturday February 27, 2021
TIME: 8:30am to 4:30pm (including lunch break)
LOCATION: SLFRC Meeting Room
COST: FREE (Donations welcomed), materials are supplied
The Safety Services Manitoba Babysitter Safety Training Course
Materials are aimed at youth 12 years and older to prepare them
for the important job of babysitting. Youth turning 12 in the near
future may be considered as well.
Space is limited to 8 participants due to covid-19 restrictions, first come first serve. Priority will be given to youth aged 12 or older at the time of the training. A wait list will be created in case of participant withdrawal, as well as for the next training session.

Who We Are:
The Snow Lake Family Resource Centre is a not-for-profit, registered charity. Our operations and programming are funded solely through grants, donations and community supporters that rent our facilities, access our services and attend our events.
The services that we provide the community and surrounding area include emotional support & counselling, information & referrals and educational events & workshops. Additionally, we provide Employment Services including resume assistance, job search skill development, interview preparation and more!
Our programs and services will always be centered around public education, wellness and awareness on various social issues to establish and/or strengthen social interaction and support within the Snow Lake community.
