Our History
Our Services
The Snow Lake Centre on Family Violence was established in 1982 and became incorporated in 1984.
The center was established out of the need in the community to addess growing problem of abuse against women. Over the years it has become understood that addressing the issues of the family in a holistic perspective is more beneficial to all.
Thus in 1995 the Centre became known as the Snow Lake Family Resource Centre. We now provide resources for the entire family in hopes they can make more informed choices.

Our services include Employment Services, information, referrals and educational workshops within the community.
Mission Statement
To provide services for women, children and men experiencing violence in a relationship, that will empower them to make changes to end the cycle of violence in the their lives.
